Joining the group

We’d love to hear from you if you’d like to be part of our research group!
We meet every 3–4 weeks on a Wednesday at 10 AM via MS Teams to share our research and discuss a key paper in social and cultural psychology. If exploring language, culture, and communication interests you, you’re welcome to join! Please contact Apurv to be added to the mailing list.

Formally, you can join us in the following three ways:

PhD Research

Apurv invites strong applicants interested in working on the themes of social construction, inequalities, stigma, and social representations. Please send an email with your initial research ideas and do include your CV and details of your degrees.

A doctoral research will typically take 3 years.

Subject to meeting the requirements, students applying to work in the lab may be eligible for funding from the following schemes:

LISS DTP Funding @ KCL

Commonwealth Scholarships (HIC)

Commonwealth Scholarships (LDC)

Dissertation Work

A limited number of both undergraduate and postgraduate students (only from KCL) are accepted each year to work on their dissertations.

Available projects will be advertised in spring. Student-led projects in the areas of research in the group are also considered. Please reach out to Apurv in good time.

Internships

Paid internships are usually available only to KCL students through KURF and King’s Research Experience schemes.

Opportunities for voluntary, unpaid internships (including remote options) may sometimes be available. Please contact Apurv.
