Lab Director

I am a Senior Lecturer in Social and cultural Psychology at King’s and lead the lab. My research examines culture, communication, and public perspectives and lived experiences of social inequalities. I work with both qualitative and quantitative methods.

I have served on BPS National Expert Group on Poverty (2020-21) and am currently on the APA Division 5 Task Force on Indigenous Psychology. I am also a Taos institute Associate.

At King’s I lecture on first year undergraduate module on Social Psychology and run an optional module covering interdisciplinary perspectives on social inequalities. In my research group I also supervise dissertation students (occasionally with my PhD students) in psychology and interdisciplinary social sciences.

Outside research and teaching, I keenly follow Test Cricket and support India (or whoever Australia are playing against).
